DJ Tyme Warp wanted to create a new identity for his already active DJ persona. First, we pinpointed how he wanted to be portrayed in his new brand. Eventually, we settled on the idea of something professional but full of character and capable of living in the wacky world of DJ brands. We took classic fonts and shapes and "warped them" to fit his personality and EDM style. Then we built him an army of merch all addressing the idea of how his music makes you feel, which is young. We used this idea of youth as our primary focus, utilizing his own baby picture as our focus for design. The results are simple, eye-catching, and personal to him.
